There are a lot of things I like about this new condo, but my favorite is probably my bathroom.
For a very long time I have been sharing a bathroom. I don’t think I’ve had my own bathroom since I was 11. My mom and I shared a bathroom at our old house (since we had lived in since I was 11) and then there were communal bathrooms at college. So I’m really excited to have my own bathroom place where I can actually put all my toiletries away instead of in my room. And now I don’t have to schedule my shower time around that of others.
Some other things that I like: I’m living in the basement, which I kind of like because it feels like more of my own space because most of the action goes on upstairs. We also have our family room down here and my mom’s study, but everything else is upstairs.
I also like that the condo backs up to woods. We don’t have much of a grassy backyard, but we get to look out onto the woods and the animals that live there. There are wild turkeys (!!), tons of different types of birds, deer, bunnies, raccoons, and a rumored fox that we haven’t seen yet. I can’t wait to see what it looks like when the leaves start to blossom!!
